The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is responsible
for the enforcement of local and state laws concerning domestic and
wild animals. The laws
are there for the benefit of the animals as well as the people.
Some of the job duties are:

Investigating cruelty cases
-
Nuisance and roaming dogs
-
Dog bites
-
Licensing violations
-
Rabies related incidents and
-
All animal activity
