 ELDERLY AND TOTALLY DISABLED TAX CREDITS

If you are 65 or older or totally disabled, you may be eligible for tax credits. The maximum income allowed for a married couple is $39,500 and $32,200 for singles. The filing period is from February 1st thru May 15th to receive the tax credit on your July, 2010 real estate tax bill. Applications are available in the Assessor's Office and on this web page. If you are already on the program, you will be notified when to re-file.

ADDITIONAL VETERAN'S EXEMPTION

The filing period for applications for Additional Veteran's Exemption is February 1st to October 1st for the 10/1/2010 Grand List. Maximum income allowed for a married couple is $39,500 and $32,200 for singles. Applications are available in the Assessor's Office and on this web page. If you are already on the program, you will be notified when to re-file.

Field card information and printouts are available during ALL regular Town Hall hours. It is often necessary for the Assessors to conduct site inspections during normal business hours, therefore if you need to speak with an Assessor, please call before you come in.
