Vision Appraisal Representative
May 22, 2008 -
Please be advised that Kathy Stanley is a representative of Vision
Appraisal. Vision and has been retained by the Town of Hampton to assist
in our 2008 Grand List Revaluation.
Ms Stanely will be driving a dark blue, 2002 VW Passat with
Massachusetts license plate #19FH03. She is registered with Troop D in
Danielson and also at the Town Hall.

DURING A RE-VALUATION.
Field card
information and printouts are available during ALL regular Town Hall
hours. It is often necessary for the Assessors to conduct site
inspections during normal business hours, therefore if you need to speak
with an Assessor, please call before you come in.
ELDERLY AND
DISABLED HOMEOWNERS
If you are 65 or older or totally disabled, you may be eligible for a
tax credit based on your income. The maximum income allowed for a
married couple is $36,500 annually and $29,800 for a single person. The
filing period for the 2007 grand list is from February 1 thru May 15 to
receive a tax credit on your July 2008 real estate bill. Application may
be made in the Assessor's Office.
Additional
Veteran’s Exemption
The filing period for applications for Additional Veteran’s Exemption is
February 1st to October 1st for the October 1, 2008 Grand List. Maximum
income allowed for a married couple is $36,500 annually and $29,800 for
singles. Application may be made in the Assessor's Office for the tax
bill due July 2009.
