Board of Assessment Appeals
The Board of Assessment Appeals (BAA) is the body that hears and decides upon appeals related to assessment matters.

Regional District 11 Board of Education
Parish Hill Middle/High School educates Hampton students from 7th to 12th grades.
Zoning Board of Appeals
The ZBA (Zoning Board of Appeals) exercises powers as granted by Section 8-5 and 8-6 of Chapter 124 of the Connecticut State Statutes, and Number 8-5, Page 9, of Hampton's Town Ordinances.
Commissions
Agriculture Commission
Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission helps preserve and acquire conservation areas, refines existing natural resource maps, and helps to update Hampton's plan of conservation and development. The Commission meets the fourth Tuesday of the Month.
Inlands Wetlands and Watercourses Agency
Implements the purposes and provisions of the Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, Sections 22a-36 to 22a-45, inclusive of the Connecticut General Statutes as amended.
Planning and Zoning Commission
As authorized by State Statute, the Planning and Zoning Commission adopts and enforces zoning regulations as authorized by Section 8-2 of Chapter 124 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
Recreation and Community Activities Commission
Establishes, maintains, and conducts public and recreational areas and activities in Hampton.

Ad Hoc Trash Options Committee
Ad-Hoc Website Review Committee
Tasked to review the current website and make recomendations by June 1, 2012
Green Energy Committee
The Committee's focus is recommending a plan for solar energy on the new garage, elementary school, and town hall. It will develop a plan for energy efficiency, conservation, and other sources of alternative energy.
Ordinance Committee
Responsible for creating, reviewing, updating, and revising the Town's ordinances.
Safety Committee
The purpose of the Safety Committee is to provide a forum for representatives of various municipal departments to meet and discuss issues relevant to the safety needs of employees and the public.
Town Garage Building Committee
This Committee's charge is to evalute potential building sites for the new Town garage building, as well as to create, publish, and review engineer's and builder's bids and provide oversight and input during the building phase.
