Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, Inc. PFLAG was founded in 1972 to provide support for parents, families, friends, and allies united with people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning. Join us for our introductory meeting on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30PM at the Hampton Community Center, 178 Main Street, Hampton. PFLAG Hampton offers support groups for parents, families and friends of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender persons. LGBT people are also welcome to attend. We are not a religious or political group. We represent people of many backgrounds, political persuasions, and faiths. PFLAG meetings are a safe place to share our experiences in small groups and support eachother in the continuing process of learning, acceptance and celebration. Participants are encouraged to say what’s on their mind or can simply listen to what others have to say. We invite you to share your experience and concerns in a completely confidential and supportive environment. We encourage lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people, parents, family and friends to attend our meetings which are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
