The Hampton Recreation and Community Activities Commission is currently made up of eight members with the capacity for three alternates.
Offerings at this time are:
- Community celebrations such as, Halloween Fortune Telling Witch, Christmas on Main Street including Tree Lighting and ornament making, 250th Anniversary of the USA
- Youth Sports: Running Club, Basketball with Chaplin, Basketball Clinics, Baseball with Brooklyn Little League, and Soccer Clinic at Hampton Elementary School
- Annual Family Ballgame Trip to Polar Park in Worcester
- Family Movie Nights
- Other activities: Crystal Bracelet Making, Line dancing, CPR/First Aid, Pickleball
- Arbor Day Celebration
- Social events including but not limited to Karaoke Night, Community Bonfire
- Hampton Town Wide Yard Sale in June
- Fishing Derby
- Support for the Hampton Harvest Festival library fundraiser
Most activities take place at the Community Center or the Town Hall Pavilion and surrounding grounds. Activities are publicized on this website in the Event Calendar, the Hampton Recreation Facebook page, the Hampton Gazette & area newspapers, bulletin board postings at the Post Office, Fletcher Memorial Library, and the Hampton General Store.
